Role Summary

The Enterprise Sales Director will be responsible for originating, advancing, and closing substantial enterprise opportunities within assigned geographic regions. This role is centered on converting qualified sales leads into finalized contracts and sustained business partnerships. It involves both leading senior-level sales engagements and managing the early stages of potential deals, ensuring a disciplined and structured progression through the sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and actively pursue high-value enterprise business opportunities.
  • Manage and bring to closure intricate, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Take charge of vetted leads generated by Sales Executives and push them to contract stage.
  • Design and implement clear opportunity progression plans to advance deals effectively.
  • Lead customer discovery sessions, align solutions to client needs, and drive commercial agreement.
  • Conduct negotiations concerning pricing and contract terms leading to deal closure.
  • Manage complex Request For Proposal (RFP) processes to support enterprise sales efforts.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline oversight and ensure accurate revenue forecasting.
  • Offer constructive guidance and performance feedback to Sales Executives to enhance their contribution.
  • Engage Sales Executives in deal discussions to help develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Marketing, Legal, and Delivery to ensure competitive and operational excellence.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven leadership in enterprise deal management and closure of complex multi-stakeholder transactions.
  • Methodical approach to opportunity movement through pipeline stages.
  • Expertise in commercial negotiation covering pricing and contract structuring.
  • Strong discipline in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Effective coaching techniques to support Sales Executives and optimize sales output.
  • Ability to engage strategically with senior-level merchant stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience in enterprise B2B sales.
  • Documented success in closing complex enterprise sales.
  • Hands-on experience with RFP processes and commercial negotiations.
  • Preferred background in fintech, payments, or B2B technology sectors.
  • Relevant experience within the region corresponding to assigned sales territory.
