We invite you to join Deloitte’s Regulatory Compliance team, where you will work with a wide array of financial services clients to manage regulatory challenges effectively. This role offers leadership in high-impact projects, opportunities to design compliance frameworks, and influence regulatory strategies in a dynamic setting. You will also have the chance to mentor junior colleagues and engage with emerging regulatory trends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert technical advice to clients to support compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Lead project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery.
• Interpret and implement regulatory requirements across various client engagements.
• Design and enhance compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures for clients.
• Review client documentation to verify adherence to regulatory standards.
• Undertake client secondments to strengthen Compliance Functions as necessary.
• Create and facilitate bespoke regulatory training sessions tailored to client needs.
• Provide mentorship and motivation to junior team members to foster professional growth and team achievement.

Required Experience and Skills

• Substantial regulatory experience within Financial Services sectors, including Payments, Fintech, Banking, or Insurance, either internally or as a consultant.
• Strong knowledge in regulatory strategy and familiarity with Financial Regulator rules and guidance, especially in Consumer Protection, Anti-Money Laundering, Conduct Risk, Market Abuse, and Risk Framework techniques.
• Comprehensive understanding of current and evolving regulations such as Fitness & Probity, Senior Executive Accountability, Conflict of Interest Management, and Governance Arrangements.
• Demonstrated capability in project management, stakeholder engagement, and influencing at multiple organizational levels.
• A relevant third-level qualification is essential; possession of a Professional Diploma in Compliance, like ACOI, is preferred.
