Role Overview

We are looking to recruit a Senior Analytics Consultant within our Data Practice. The ideal candidate excels at transforming complex data into compelling, actionable visual stories and thrives in a high-profile role engaging with stakeholders. Mastery of Power BI combined with advanced consulting skills is essential to guide clients in making data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create impactful, executive-level Power BI dashboards and reports that drive organizational business value.
• Develop and maintain robust and scalable semantic data models using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and Power Query (M) to establish a unified source of truth.
• Lead client workshops and presentations to convert vague business questions into clear technical requirements and visually elegant analytics solutions.
• Partner with Data Engineers to optimize underlying data structures, enhancing frontend performance and user experience.
• Establish visualization standards, governance policies, and self-service analytics strategies tailored for enterprise clients.

Qualifications and Expertise

• Advanced expertise in Power BI including complex DAX formulas, paginated reports, and administration of the Power BI Service.
• Strong SQL skills for data profiling alongside a solid understanding of star schema and dimensional data modeling concepts (Kimball methodology).
• Exceptional communication skills with confidence and clarity in translating intricate data insights to non-technical executives and stakeholders.
• Proven consulting experience including requirements gathering, user interface and user experience design for dashboards, and client expectation management.
• Familiarity with the Power BI ecosystem and integration with cloud platforms such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Databricks is highly desirable.
