Job description

About PACE Align

PACE Align is an innovative Saudi HealthTech firm focused on enhancing specialty therapy support through complex patient care journeys. The company develops intelligent healthcare infrastructure to promote continuous therapy and improve transparency from the start of treatment to long-term use. Merging expertise in HealthTech, specialty pharmaceuticals, patient support, and healthcare analytics, PACE Align enables stakeholders to make informed decisions and achieve measurable benefits for patients and healthcare providers. As an early-stage company driven by patient impact, intelligence, ownership, high standards, and entrepreneurial thinking, joining PACE Align offers an influential role in shaping the company's growth and addressing critical challenges in specialty healthcare.

Role Overview

The Enterprise Business Development Lead – Pharma & Patient Support Programs position focuses on identifying, developing, and securing strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and healthcare affiliates in Saudi Arabia. This is distinct from traditional pharmaceutical sales roles, emphasizing enterprise business development through targeted account prioritization, stakeholder engagement, business case development, and advancing commercial agreements from pilot stages. The role requires a deep understanding of pharmaceutical operations, complex stakeholder navigation, and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize key pharmaceutical accounts, brands, and strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders across Patient Advocacy, Patient Access, Patient Services/PSP, Market Access, Brand/Marketing, Commercial divisions, and senior leadership.
  • Generate qualified enterprise opportunities and engage relevant decision-makers.
  • Translate client priorities and challenges into compelling PACE Align value propositions focused on outcomes.
  • Lead commercial discussions, presentations, and solution dialogues with potential partners.
  • Guide opportunities through proof-of-concept/pilot stages, proposals, negotiations, and final commercial contracts.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to coordinate business cases, proposals, and stakeholder follow-ups.
  • Maintain comprehensive visibility of the enterprise opportunity pipeline, including account status, next steps, and commercial probabilities.
  • Support strategic partnerships with PSP agencies and healthcare ecosystem collaborators.
  • Represent PACE Align at pharmaceutical, healthcare, and industry events.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer insights to inform commercial and product strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience within the Saudi pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty care, HealthTech, or healthcare-services sectors.
  • Strong background in B2B business development, strategic/key account management, market access, strategic partnerships, commercial roles, or enterprise healthcare solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical organizational structures, commercial processes, and stakeholder decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and advance complex B2B opportunities beyond lead generation.
  • Experienced in moving opportunities towards proposals, pilots, negotiations, or commercial agreements.
  • Confident engagement with senior pharmaceutical stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
  • Capability to work independently while collaborating effectively in an early-stage, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Healthcare Management, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specialty pharmaceuticals and biologics.
  • Familiarity with Patient Support Programs (PSPs), Market Access, Strategic Account Management, and Patient Access/Services.
  • Background in Pharmaceutical Commercial Excellence and Digital Health/HealthTech sectors.
  • Experience with Healthcare SaaS or enterprise healthcare solutions, and Strategic Partnerships/Business Development.
  • Established professional network and relationships within Saudi Arabian pharmaceutical companies.
  • Proven engagement with Patient Advocacy, Patient Access, Market Access, PSP/Patient Services, Brand/Commercial, or senior leadership levels.

Success Metrics

Success will be measured by the quality and advancement of pharmaceutical opportunities, access to relevant decision-makers, commercial deal conversions, and the cultivation of sustainable partnerships — not merely lead counts.

Engagement Model

This role begins as a flexible, part-time, performance-driven commercial engagement designed for seasoned professionals with the capacity to create and convert enterprise-level opportunities. Details about compensation will be shared confidentially with shortlisted candidates. As the company grows its commercial presence, this role may expand into a broad commercial leadership position with enhanced responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • In-depth understanding of the Saudi pharmaceutical ecosystem and complex enterprise stakeholder dynamics.
  • Ability to open doors and convert access into impactful commercial partnerships.
  • Passion for building opportunities from inception with strategic and commercial thinking.
  • Desire for meaningful ownership in growing a pioneering Saudi HealthTech company.

Application Guidance

Applicants should submit their CV or professional profile along with a concise introduction covering their pharmaceutical or healthcare experience, previous roles in business development, market access, PSPs, strategic accounts, or enterprise partnerships, the pharmaceutical stakeholder groups they have collaborated with, and their motivation to contribute to PACE Align's commercial growth.
