Job description
About Haast
Haast is pioneering one of the earliest enterprise-grade large language model platforms designed to revolutionize compliance processes in a $50 billion global market. Over just two years, Haast has transformed compliance from a burdensome checkbox task into an intelligent, automated operation, enabling compliance and legal teams to achieve up to 80% faster reviews and quadruple productivity. Recently securing a $12 million Series A funding led by Peak XV Partners with support from DST Global and Airtree, Haast is rapidly expanding its impact in this space.
Role Purpose
This position is critical as Haast establishes its commercial foundation in the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) region while preparing to expand into the US market. The successful candidate will be a seasoned enterprise sales professional based in Sydney, tasked with opening strategic doors, closing high-value deals, and defining exemplary go-to-market strategies in the regulated sectors of financial services, insurance, and legal industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the ANZ go-to-market plan by designing outreach strategies, building pipeline, and securing enterprise accounts within regulated sectors.
- Lead the full sales cycle—from initial contact through closing—to accelerate revenue growth.
- Provide consultative demos that translate complex AI solutions into understandable, value-driven messages tailored to compliance and legal decision-makers.
- Serve as the voice of the ANZ market by collecting customer insights to help shape global product development.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Product, Engineering, and Marketing to refine sales playbooks and market positioning.
- Represent Haast at industry conferences and engage with marketing, compliance, and risk leaders across Australia.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in enterprise sales with a history of surpassing targets and closing intricate B2B SaaS deals involving major Australian enterprises.
- Strong understanding of how marketing, compliance, and legal departments operate within highly regulated organizations.
- Exceptional communication skills capable of distilling advanced AI technology benefits into clear, impactful business propositions for executives such as CMOs, General Counsels, or Chief Compliance Officers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable working in ambiguous environments and excited about building new frameworks rather than managing established ones.
- A keen interest in AI developments specifically related to enterprise applications and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Previous experience selling to or collaborating with enterprise marketing, legal, or compliance teams in regulated industries.
- Background in high-growth startups or scale-ups, accustomed to rapid change and versatile role requirements.
Why Join Haast?
- Competitive base salary complemented by unlimited commission opportunities.
- Equity participation with meaningful stock options, sharing in company success.
- Flexible hybrid working arrangement based in Sydney.
- Be a foundational member of the ANZ go-to-market team and influence presence in a multi-billion-dollar market.
- Opportunity to collaborate with top-tier enterprise customers and notable investors.
- Fast-paced professional growth unmatched by typical roles, offering extensive learning within a 12 month span.
