Role Overview

The Enterprise Account Director will be instrumental in expanding Hawk’s footprint among major financial institutions, Tier 1 banks, payment providers, and other regulated entities across EMEA. This role involves managing complex enterprise sales engagements, cultivating executive-level relationships, and aiding customers in transforming financial crime operations using Hawk's AI-powered AML and fraud prevention platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discover, pursue, and finalize large enterprise opportunities with Tier 1 banks and regulated financial entities across the EMEA region.
  • Develop, implement, and manage strategic account plans aimed at acquiring new customers and growing existing client relationships.
  • Build and maintain advisory-level relationships with executives including C-suite and heads of AML, fraud, compliance, financial crime, risk, operations, and technology departments.
  • Steer end-to-end enterprise sales processes from initial contact through contract negotiation and execution.
  • Conduct consultative discovery engagements to grasp client challenges and align Hawk’s AI-driven AML, fraud detection, and transaction monitoring solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Explore and promote innovative AI applications such as agentic workflows, automated investigation processes, and AI supported decision-making to boost efficiency and detection outcomes.
  • Create persuasive executive presentations, customized business cases, and solution strategies tailored for prominent financial service organizations.
  • Generate and cultivate a robust sales pipeline through targeted prospecting, networking with industry leaders, participation in conferences, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to design tailored solutions, conduct proofs of value, and ensure customer success.
  • Relay client feedback and market insights to inform product development, AI enhancements, and future platform innovations.
  • Maintain precise pipeline tracking, forecasting, and account activity reporting using CRM tools such as HubSpot.
  • Practice disciplined opportunity management employing data-driven, value-focused sales tactics to advance complex deals.
  • Lead commercial negotiations balancing client needs with Hawk's strategic and commercial priorities.
  • Develop and execute strategies for account expansion, client retention, and long-term value growth.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, financial crime typologies, AI innovations, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape to position Hawk effectively.
  • Represent Hawk in executive briefings, customer engagements, industry events, and thought leadership forums throughout the financial services sector.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 7 years in enterprise B2B sales with a record of surpassing sales targets and closing complex, valuable deals.
  • Experience selling to Tier 1 banks, large financial institutions, or payment processors, engaging stakeholders in risk, compliance, fraud, AML, and technology functions.
  • Strong familiarity with RegTech, financial crime compliance, fraud prevention, AI-powered transaction monitoring, or enterprise AI workflow solutions, including agentic AI and automation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in consultative selling, strategic account management, navigating extended sales cycles, multi-stakeholder involvement, and value-based sales approaches.
  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, and Customer Success for solution development and complex engagements.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) for sales pipeline, forecasting, and presentations.
  • Capacity to perform effectively in a dynamic, high-growth, global environment handling multiple strategic sales opportunities.
