Engineering Supervisor

Overview

We are inviting applications for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to enhance our Engineering Department’s operational capabilities. The team ensures that all facilities, equipment, utilities, and technical systems function safely, efficiently, and reliably while adhering to high standards of operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily engineering, maintenance, and technical tasks.
• Lead and manage a diverse team of engineers and technicians, assigning tasks and balancing workloads effectively.
• Organize preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment failures and avoid operational interruptions.
• Monitor and ensure the quality and timely completion of engineering and maintenance projects.
• Offer technical advice, troubleshoot issues, and provide hands-on coaching to team members.
• Detect technical hazards and equipment risks, enforcing corrective and preventative measures.
• Liaise with other departments to guarantee that engineering needs and maintenance requests are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical), Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years' supervisory or team leadership experience in engineering, maintenance, facilities, hospitality, or a similar setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering systems and maintenance protocols, including both preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and making informed technical decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with expertise in supervising teams and managing workloads.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification is a plus.
