Job description
Overview
We are looking for a proactive and effective Engineering Services Recruiter experienced in contract recruitment across multiple technical fields including aerospace, electronic systems, transportation, and electronics. This role demands a hands-on approach to sourcing, screening, and placing highly specialized engineering contractors within U.S.-based projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment cycles for engineering contract positions as the primary recruiter.
- Develop and sustain robust pipelines of engineering contractors in aerospace, electronic systems, and similar technology sectors.
- Collaborate with business development teams and clients to deeply understand technical requirements, project timelines, and delivery goals.
- Engage in proactive candidate sourcing through direct outreach, leveraging referrals, networking, and specialized industry resources.
- Conduct candidate screening and interviews to assess technical compatibility, contract readiness, and alignment with client expectations.
- Oversee offer negotiations including contract details, start dates, and planning for reassignments.
- Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, submission-to-hire ratios, and overall pipeline health.
- Ensure adherence to U.S. labor regulations, client-specific mandates, and internal company staffing policies.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in U.S.-based engineering contract staffing with a strong record of success.
- Recruiting expertise in aerospace, defense, electronic systems, or related advanced technology domains.
- Comprehensive understanding of contract staffing frameworks including rates, margins, and service expectations.
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and aptitude for negotiation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with government, defense, or regulated engineering projects.
- Established network of engineering contractors within the relevant industries.
Additional Information
This position offers a base salary plus commission. Employment location options include Bangalore or Noida, India. The role is full-time and situated primarily onsite.
