About the Role

Lead Group Ireland is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to supervise maintenance operations at a leading pharmaceutical facility in Limerick. This full-time, permanent position involves directing a substantial team of maintenance technicians and ensuring the smooth implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance programs within a stringent regulatory framework.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a strong culture focused on safety, high performance, and ongoing enhancement.
• Manage all corrective and preventive maintenance efforts, ensuring strict adherence to GMP standards, site protocols, and regulatory mandates.
• Formulate maintenance strategies aimed at enhancing equipment dependability, minimizing downtime, and improving overall operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with site stakeholders, engineering teams, and external contractors to facilitate daily operations and project initiatives.
• Oversee maintenance-related KPIs, budget management, and resource allocation.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives throughout all maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing large or cross-functional maintenance teams.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other GMP-regulated sectors is mandatory.
• Possession of a relevant trade qualification or degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies, reliability engineering concepts, and safety protocols.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving competencies.
• Capability to succeed in a dynamic, compliance-driven environment.
