Role Overview

The Credential Governance product addresses security risks from unmanaged credentials—such as vendor portal logins stored privately and not rotated after employee departure—by providing administrators with centralized visibility and management over company-owned credentials. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead the team responsible for launching and enhancing these governance capabilities to protect critical enterprise credentials and support organizational growth.

Responsibilities

• Define and steer the team's strategic objectives aligning with company goals.

• Collaborate with senior technical leaders to establish the team's technical vision.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including product and design to create customer-centric solutions.

• Provide technical guidance across engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers to foster professional growth and skills development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing engineering teams and overseeing production service development and operations.
• Solid understanding of web development and backend systems; capable of engaging with complex technical challenges.
• Proven success in cultivating a healthy, supportive, and challenging team environment.
• Experience directing project delivery while linking short-term work to longer-term objectives.
• Good judgment to balance immediate challenges against long-term value and to prioritize minimal effective solutions for learning.
• Experience scaling teams and managing service evolution as complexity grows.
• Background in leading remote or distributed teams.
• Informed and judicious use of AI tools to accelerate progress without compromising quality.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges for Canada-based candidates are CA$171,000 to CA$248,000 annually, with access to a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental coverage, parental leave top-ups, paid time off, equity grants, retirement matching, and wellness programs.
