We manage the complete print lifecycle from product discovery, design, and purchase to partnering with print manufacturers worldwide. Our mission is to create an e-commerce-oriented Print platform with a focus on sustainable practices such as the one-print-one-tree initiative.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As an Engineering Director for the Print division, you will lead and mentor engineering leaders, shaping technical strategy and delivering innovative solutions that drive business expansion. Your focus includes growing the Print product portfolio, partner ecosystem, and global commerce capabilities with agility and technical excellence.

• Collaborate with Product and Design leadership to define and execute Print’s technical roadmap aligned with ambitious commercial targets.
• Develop capabilities to accelerate the introduction of new print products, prototypes, and customer engagements to market.
• Enhance partner integration by designing scalable platform patterns and maintaining strong relationships with key partners.
• Strengthen global commerce infrastructure, particularly payments systems and operational support for a seamless checkout experience.
• Coach and develop Engineering Leads to foster a leadership pipeline and cultivate a high-performance culture.
• Ensure high-quality technical decision-making focused on platform investments, delivery velocity, and customer satisfaction.
• Clarify engineering trade-offs for stakeholders in Product, Design, and commercial teams.
• Lead talent acquisition, development, and performance management to sustain an empowered engineering organization.
• Drive engineering’s contribution toward Print’s revenue growth and commercial success.
• Advocate for practical AI integration within customer experiences and operational workflows.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced leader managing engineering teams at scale, including mentorship of managers and technical leads.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to balance long-term strategic trade-offs and involve the right expertise.
• Proven ability to convert technical strategies into executable roadmaps that teams reliably deliver.
• Commercially minded with clear understanding of how engineering impacts revenue and business metrics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills spanning product, design, operational, and partner groups.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid growth environments where responsibilities evolve.
• Experience in e-commerce or marketplace businesses considered a significant advantage.
