This opportunity is designed for a proficient software engineer eager to go beyond routine ticket work. Responsibilities

At Envato, you will be part of the Content Management team responsible for building critical systems that support creative professionals worldwide. Your work will center on content upload, processing, metadata management, storage, distribution, and a combination of human and AI-assisted review processes. You will take end-to-end ownership of features and projects, delivering reliable, well-tested software and improving existing systems through proactive problem solving and system improvements.

Work Environment & Culture

You'll collaborate closely with Lead and Senior Engineers through continuous pairing, constructive feedback, and joint problem solving. The team values high-standard engineering practices yet remains open to innovative ideas and improvements. Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates have solid back-end engineering skills with experience in Ruby on Rails or comparable frameworks. A commitment to clean code, pragmatic trade-offs, comprehensive testing, and curiosity during production troubleshooting is essential. Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, Docker, Buildkite, Datadog, Rollbar, or managing content-centric systems is advantageous. Most important is a motivated learner mindset, ownership drive, and contribution beyond standard answers.
