Engineer - IBM BPM

Job Overview

We are seeking a Lead Engineer specializing in IBM BPM to oversee development, architect design, and consulting efforts aimed at delivering automated business process solutions for clients. The role focuses on architecting effective IBM BPM implementations utilizing IBM Business Process Manager Product Suite and J2EE technologies to fulfill client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage fully in all phases of the IBM BPM/BAW implementation lifecycle: requirement assessment, solution design, development, deployment, and ongoing evolution.
• Leverage deep expertise in IBM BPM/BAW combined with business acumen and technical skills to deliver robust IBM BPM/BAW and J2EE solutions.
• Maintain compliance with established development standards, including naming conventions and best practices throughout the development process.
• Create detailed technical architectures that provide scalable and reliable solutions aligned with user and system requirements.
• Produce comprehensive project documentation such as technical specifications, naming standards, and test plans at different project milestones.
• Provide training sessions and transfer knowledge to client end-users to ensure successful adoption of solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to discover new business opportunities where IBM Business Process Manager and related technologies can enhance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with IBM BPM/BAW, J2EE, IBM DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server focused on server-side software development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IBM BPM/BAW and the J2EE technology stack with experience implementing solutions across various industries.
• Familiarity with modern application development practices and global best practices.
• Hands-on experience with J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, batch processing, and ACID transaction concepts.
• Expertise in designing API frameworks using Spring Boot microservices architecture.
• Proven skills in integration management and cross-module implementation techniques.
• Experience in test planning and execution using appropriate tools.
• Strong documentation skills aligned with software implementation methodologies.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Database schema design, including normalization techniques.
• Advanced T-SQL programming skills.
