Position Summary
The Embedded Intelligence Analyst is charged with overseeing the safety and security of our client’s personnel and assets worldwide, reporting directly to the embedded Team Lead. This role involves assisting Regional Intelligence Analysts in producing comprehensive intelligence reports that inform business decisions and support incident management related to client operations globally.
Collaboration with other teams and corporate stakeholders is key, as is direct engagement with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide timely support, and utilise resources from Sibylline's core team.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor and analyze situations to ensure the security of the client’s personnel, facilities, and operations.
- Identify and evaluate threats and incidents to assess their impact on client interests.
- Retrieve and utilize open-source intelligence (OSINT) and proprietary databases to generate tactical intelligence products.
- Conduct investigative research on persons of interest using OSINT and internal data sources.
- Compose and disseminate notifications as well as daily and weekly intelligence reports.
- Support incident and emergency management at client sites worldwide.
- Rapidly triage and respond to potential threats and incidents.
- Monitor corporate events for their security implications on employee safety.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for producing detailed intelligence assessments under constrained timelines while maintaining strategic focus.
- Expertise in tracking and analyzing geopolitical developments and threats impacting client assets and global interests.
- Strong analytical capabilities and research skills, with native proficiency in English and fast, precise writing and editing.
- Comprehensive understanding of worldwide geopolitical, security, and social factors; multilingual skills advantageous.
- Proven ability to work autonomously managing sensitive investigations.
- Experience collaborating across functions such as IT, HR, and Legal within multicultural contexts.
- High ethical standards, initiative taking, and meticulous attention when handling confidential information.
- Excellent skills in time management and multitasking in dynamic and fast-paced settings.
- Superior customer service orientation and stakeholder communication abilities, adaptable to diverse audiences.
- Advanced command of G Suite and data analysis software with the aptitude to effectively visualize complex data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in disciplines like Security Studies, International Relations, Criminal Justice, Business Management, or related areas, or equivalent professional experience.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least two years of pertinent experience in global security, intelligence analysis, research, or security operations centers.
- Proficiency in foreign languages is considered a plus.
