Job Overview
We seek an Electronics Hardware Lab Technician to help with assembling, testing, and installing IoT hardware devices. The candidate should be proficient in soldering, have practical experience handling electronic parts, and be interested in hardware diagnostics.
Key Duties
- Carry out soldering work including through-hole and surface-mount device (SMD) techniques, and wiring PCB assemblies.
- Build electronic equipment such as printed circuit boards, housings, connectors, and sensors.
- Execute hardware testing and quality inspections using established checklists.
- Identify and fix basic hardware problems including connector faults, shorts, and soldering issues.
- Support firmware installation and device setup after training.
- Engage in deployment, on-site installation, and maintenance activities when requested.
- Keep detailed records of testing and assembly procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Proficient in soldering and manual electronic assembly.
- Capable of operating standard lab instruments like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Skilled with hand tools such as screwdrivers, crimpers, heat guns, and cutters.
- Highly attentive to detail with a strong capacity to follow instructions and SOPs.
- Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or research and development laboratories.
- Experience documenting assembly and testing logs.
- Holding an ITI or Diploma is advantageous but not compulsory.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary commensurate with skills and experience within the range ₹16000 to ₹21000 per month.
- Travel expenses will be covered for field-related duties.
