  • Implement engineering standards such as ECSS and NASA guidelines to ensure system reliability and robustness.
  • Conduct thorough verification, qualification, and acceptance testing of electronic components and systems.
  • Engage in hands-on hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis utilizing standard lab instruments.
  • Support product development from concept phase through testing and production scale-up.
  • Offer manufacturing support and drive continuous enhancements in released hardware.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams to meet project timelines and delivery goals.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent demonstrated skills.
  • At least three years of experience in designing, assembling, and testing electronic hardware.
  • Deep understanding of electrical circuit design principles and fundamentals.
  • A strong enthusiasm for PCB design and creating reliable electronics.
  • Exceptional technical problem-solving ability and clear communication skills.
  • Proficient in schematic and PCB layout design using tools like KiCAD or Altium.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads.
  • Basic familiarity with Python scripting for testing and data analysis.
  • Experience with Git or analogous version control systems.

Desirable Experience

  • Expertise in EMC design and testing methodologies.
  • Designing fault-tolerant and high-reliability electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of radiation tolerance and testing for electronics in space.
  • Component selection expertise suited for extreme operating conditions.
  • Experience with high-reliability standards including ECSS, NASA, automotive, or medical sectors.
  • Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles.
  • Familiarity with rigorous testing or qualification procedures.
