Electro Mechanical Technician

Role Summary

The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for ensuring asset maintenance adheres to established technical standards and manufacturer guidelines to guarantee equipment reliability. This role includes compliance with local, regional, segment, and corporate HSEQ standards. Based in Jeddah, the Technician will report to the Assistant Manager – Maintenance.

Key Duties

• Perform maintenance activities aligned with standards and procedures, ensuring high-quality, efficient execution. Manage and contribute to updates in the Matrix Maintenance System, specifically focusing on preventive maintenance, standard job tasks, and managing spare parts lists and inventory.
• Engage in root cause analysis for recurring and critical equipment failures, troubleshoot faults independently, and support both preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines and industrial machinery.
• Possess solid knowledge and practical understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, industrial electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting pumps, gearboxes, blowers, fans, seals, motors, VFDs, compressors, HVAC systems, bearings, and similar equipment.
• Support multiple work shifts, conduct emergency maintenance, and carry out electrical and mechanical repairs as needed. Assist with the commissioning of new equipment, adhering to HSEQ, engineering standards, and work permit procedures.
• Assist with PLC programming in various languages, manage control networks, work with industrial control systems, and interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics and drawings.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and estimation records using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Qualification and Experience

• Vocational technical course or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical fields.
• 4 to 6 years of practical experience in electro-mechanical and industrial facility maintenance.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
