Role Overview

This full-time, on-location Electrician position is based in Tauranga. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical infrastructure in homes, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. Daily tasks involve interpreting electrical diagrams and blueprints, executing wiring and connections, testing electrical systems, diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs. Regular inspections ensure adherence to safety standards and local regulatory codes. Accurate documentation and clear communication with clients and team members are essential. Collaboration with supervisors and peers is required to organize work schedules and uphold a secure and efficient workspace.

Qualifications and Skills

• Thorough understanding of electrical theory and safe work practices.
• Practical experience with installations, wiring, and setup of electrical systems.
• Capability in maintaining and repairing electrical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues effectively.
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles for field applications.
