Overview
Join Vijay Engineering Works as an Electrician / Panel Wiring Technician in the food processing machinery manufacturing sector. This role involves critical electrical assembly and troubleshooting tasks essential to machine functionality and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform wiring and assembly of electrical panels according to technical electrical schematics.
- Manage machine wiring including cable routing, termination, and ferruling.
- Wire components such as motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), contactors, relays, miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), sensors, and related electrical devices.
- Conduct basic programming logic controller (PLC) input/output wiring and assist with troubleshooting.
- Install and conduct tests on electrical panels integrated into machinery.
- Identify and resolve electrical faults encountered during machine testing and commissioning phases.
- Verify continuity, voltage levels, earthing, and ensure electrical safety prior to machine shipment.
- Interpret and comprehend basic diagrams for electrical circuits and panel layouts.
- Assist with customer site support including installation and service for machines when requested.
- Maintain high standards of wiring quality, orderly workmanship, and thorough documentation.
Candidate Profile
- Vocational qualification such as ITI Electrician or Wireman certificate, or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in industrial or machine panel wiring is desirable.
- Familiarity with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Preferred knowledge includes VFDs, motors, sensors, and elementary PLC wiring practices.
- Skillful use of diagnostic tools including multimeters and clamp meters along with other electrical instruments.
- Preparedness to travel to customer locations for machine installations and servicing as part of job duties.
- Experience desired ranges between 1 to 5 years in related roles.

- Experience working with industrial machinery, automation panels, packaging equipment, or food processing machinery is an advantage.
Remuneration
Monthly salary ranges between 20,000 and 35,000 INR.

Diploma / ITI / Vocational
