Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Electrician to work on-site at Zone 43, Doha. This role entails installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical infrastructures and devices on construction sites, ensuring strict adherence to electrical codes and safety regulations. Key daily activities include interpreting electrical schematics, wiring and cabling tasks, fitting fixtures, panels, and conduits, as well as conducting diagnostic tests to resolve electrical malfunctions. The electrician will collaborate closely with site engineers and various tradespeople, maintain detailed records of completed work, and promptly report any hazards or deficiencies. Compliance with safety protocols and use of protective equipment is essential to support seamless project progress.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven hands-on expertise in electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs related to wiring, panels, conduits, and fixture installation in construction settings.
• Competence in reading and accurately interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical documents.
• Proficiency in electrical testing and troubleshooting using tools like multimeters to safely identify and fix faults.
• Sound knowledge of relevant electrical codes, site safety practices, and adherence to workplace safety on construction sites.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and other trades, along with clear documentation and reporting skills.
• Possession of relevant technical certifications or diplomas in electrical engineering or technology; licensed or certified electrician credentials preferred.
• Experience working as an electrician on civil or infrastructure construction projects, preferably within Qatar or the Gulf Cooperation Council area, is advantageous.
• Ability to operate physically on-site in Zone 43, adjusting to dynamic project requirements and performing physically demanding tasks under varying environmental conditions.
