Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Al Rayyan, Qatar requires an Electrician skilled in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and wiring across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Key activities include routine inspections, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting electrical problems, and performing corrective maintenance while adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines. The Electrician will interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensure compliance with local electrical codes, and keep detailed records of all tasks completed. Collaboration with supervisors, engineers, and team members is essential to plan work efficiently, reduce downtime, and deliver safe, reliable electrical solutions to clients.

Qualifications and Skills

Solid understanding of electrical principles and fundamental electrical engineering concepts.
Practical experience installing wiring, fixtures, electrical panels, and components.
Proficiency in maintaining and repairing electrical systems, capable of executing both preventive and corrective maintenance.
Skillful in troubleshooting electrical faults, diagnosing issues, and devising effective remedies.
Possession of a technical certification or diploma in electrical engineering, electrical technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with safety regulations, local electrical codes, and industry best practices.
Ability to read, understand, and apply electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
Effective communication skills, dependability, and the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively.
Prior experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial environments is advantageous.
