Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join a leading Heating and Electrical company based in Salisbury, England. The successful candidate will perform a variety of electrical tasks including testing, inspection, installation, and maintenance, primarily within a 30-mile radius of Salisbury. Most assignments will be local and involve working in customer-occupied domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical testing and inspections according to standards.
- Replace consumer units efficiently and safely.
- Install and manage heating control systems (training available if necessary).
- Perform rewiring work on domestic properties.
- Carry out reactive maintenance duties as required.
- Support project-related electrical work tasks.
Requirements
- Hold City & Guilds 2365 Part 1 and 2 certification.
- Possess City & Guilds 2391 qualification in inspection and testing.
- Certified in City & Guilds BS7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
- Reside within reasonable commuting distance to Salisbury.
- Demonstrable experience working in occupied homes with direct customer interaction.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range between £38,000 and £45,000 annually.
