Role Summary

This full-time, on-site Electrician position located in Bradford involves performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across various properties and systems. Ensuring all work complies with safety and regulatory standards is essential. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, testing wiring and equipment, and completing all necessary paperwork and reports.

The role requires collaboration with colleagues and clients to understand job scopes, maintaining tools and workspaces safely and orderly. The Electrician may need to handle urgent service calls and demonstrate flexibility to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of electrical principles applied safely and effectively.
• Proficient skills in electrical installation, wiring, and system configuration for residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Experience in maintaining and repairing electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify electrical issues, interpret test outcomes, and implement corrective measures.
• Knowledge of basic electrical engineering concepts relevant to fieldwork.
• Possession of recognized electrical certifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds, along with current compliance certification to regulations like BS 7671/Wiring Regulations.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards, including PPE use and safe work practices.
• Effective communication skills, capability to interpret technical drawings, and keen attention to detail.
• Holding a full UK driving license and readiness to travel to various job sites.
• Prior experience as an electrician, preferably with exposure to both domestic and commercial environments.
