This full-time Maintenance Electrician position places you as an integral part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining facility infrastructure and critical systems at OASIS. Your responsibilities include technical repair, preventive maintenance, scheduling, training, mentoring, and resource management, all aimed at ensuring optimal productivity and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various facility infrastructure, systems, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues by replacing faulty components such as elements, fuses, wiring, and cleaning or repairing electrical motors.
• Test electrical apparatus including motors, heaters, and control systems to guarantee safety.
• Respond promptly and effectively to unexpected operational issues and emergencies requiring equipment repairs.
• Collaborate and communicate with team members to maintain best practices, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and update technical documentation including drawings, panel schedules, and operating procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant facility infrastructure and systems.
• Complete job documentation accurately and timely, including Work Orders, timesheets, and safety reports, transitioning information from paper to digital systems.
• Install new electrical equipment and infrastructure as directed.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Work Health Safety (WHS) legislation, along with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
• Experience working within a facility maintenance or comparable technical environment.
• Familiarity with electrical infrastructure technical terminology and electronic equipment.
• Understanding of facility equipment operations and maintenance (O&M) demands.
• Experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance approaches.
• Willingness or proven ability to work with 110V (US) power systems.
• Ability and willingness to learn additional technical areas such as High Voltage systems and Power Generation.
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and sound decision-making capabilities.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP or Archibus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer competency.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, industrial control circuits, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

Licenses and Certifications

• Must hold and maintain an Australian "A" Grade Electrical License or a US State Journeyman’s License.
• US candidates from Arizona must maintain a State "Contractors" License.
• Certification in Low Voltage Rescue is required.
• Desirable certifications include Working at Heights, First Aid/CPR, Forklift Licence, Elevated Work Platform, and Confined Space training.

Experience and Physical Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of post-trade experience.
• Experience working with a broad range of power distribution equipment is highly valued.
• Must be physically fit to handle moderate to heavy loads and operate safely in varied and potentially cramped or uneven maintenance environments.

Security Clearance

Employees must obtain and maintain appropriate security and medical clearances, starting with NV1 and aiming toward Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) or TS/SCI clearance depending on nationality.

Employment Criteria

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is essential.
• Applicants must be Australian or US citizens.

• All personnel must adhere to site-specific environmental, health, and safety requirements and are responsible for completing tasks safely.
