About the Role

A well-established social housing provider across Staffordshire and nearby areas is seeking an experienced Electrician. This permanent, full-time position offers a salary of 41,502.58 per annum accompanied by a company van and fuel card. The role involves working 39 hours per week, delivering electrical repair, maintenance, testing, and installation services within both occupied and empty domestic properties. All tasks must adhere to high standards and comply with current electrical regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform domestic electrical repairs and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis and corrective actions.
  • Install new electrical circuits and carry out associated testing procedures.
  • Upgrade consumer units as required.
  • Complete EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports), Electrical Installation Certificates, and Minor Work Certificates.
  • Collaborate effectively with other trades personnel while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in domestic electrical work.
  • Possess an 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical testing and inspection.
  • Hold a valid full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Exhibit a positive and adaptable team-oriented mindset.
  • Prior experience in social housing electrical work is advantageous but not mandatory.
