About the Role

We are seeking a male candidate to join as an Associate Maintenance Electrician at our facility located in Thoraipakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, within the cinema industry. The primary objective is to maintain all utility and facility equipment including electrical, MEP, HVAC, plumbing, fire & safety systems in a safe and reliable condition.

Compensation

The offered salary is approximately ₹21,000 net in hand with a CTC of ₹25,000 plus additional incentives.

Qualifications

Applicants should have completed ITI or a Diploma in Electrical or related Electrician fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure effective monitoring and upkeep of building electrical systems, fire and safety equipment, UPS, HVAC, plumbing, and MEP systems in accordance with standard operating procedures and industry standards.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and carry out preventive maintenance for facility services.
• Regularly check fire alarms, fire extinguishers, sprinklers, hydrants, emergency lighting, electrical setups, and other safety devices.
• Detect and address plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, valve malfunctions, and kitchen appliance repairs.
• Observe and manage the temperature of critical areas and equipment to meet established compliance standards.
• Manage maintenance tools, maintain inventory control, upkeep records, and adhere to Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify equipment abnormalities like overheating or dust accumulation and implement corrective measures promptly.
• Assist supervisors by liaising with local vendors for tasks related to fire safety, electrical works, plumbing, and civil maintenance.
