Role Overview

The Electrical Technician is a remote, full-time role tasked with ensuring the dependability and safety of the electrical systems integral to restaurant operations and related sites. Key duties involve routine electrical maintenance, diagnosing and fixing electrical malfunctions, aiding in equipment installation and start-up, and collaborating with teams to reduce operational downtime.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular electrical maintenance to uphold system reliability.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems effectively.
• Assist in installing and commissioning electrical apparatus.
• Oversee equipment performance and observe compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Work in close coordination with operations and maintenance teams to minimize disruption.
• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Communicate efficiently with various stakeholders to promote ongoing operational improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong expertise in electrical maintenance and handling electrical equipment.
• Comprehensive understanding of electricity fundamentals and electrical engineering basics.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills to detect and resolve electrical faults.
• Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a comparable discipline.
• Practical experience with industrial or commercial electrical systems, ideally within food service, manufacturing, or facilities upkeep sectors.
• Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams, manuals, and adhering to safety protocols.
• Meticulous attention to detail, commitment to safety, and capacity to work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate across departments.
