Role Summary
Narsect is hiring experienced Electrical Technicians to join its Fire & Security team in Saudi Arabia. The role involves work across industrial, commercial, and residential sites, with responsibility for fire alarm and fire protection system installation, testing, commissioning, upkeep, and fault resolution. The position requires strict adherence to project requirements, safety rules, and relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit, test, commission, and service fire alarm systems according to approved drawings and project specifications.
- Diagnose faults, carry out troubleshooting, and complete corrective maintenance on alarm systems and related components.
- Wire and terminate field devices, control panels, interfaces, and connected cabling.
- Perform regular inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to keep systems reliable and compliant.
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and project documents accurately.
- Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and project teams to finish tasks on schedule.
- Carry out all activities in line with NFPA requirements, local regulations, and internal safety procedures.
- Document service work through reports, test logs, and maintenance records.
- Assist with project handover, including final testing and client demonstrations.
Qualifications
- A Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in Fire Protection or Fire Alarm Systems is necessary.
- Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is compulsory.
- Practical experience in installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining fire alarm systems is essential.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm equipment, field devices, control panels, and fault-finding methods is needed.
- Exposure to NFPA 72 and local fire safety rules is an advantage.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams is important.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities are expected.
- Candidates must be able to join immediately.
