Electrical Soldering Operator

About the Role

We are seeking Electrical Soldering Operators to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Candidates with educational qualifications in ITI (Electronics, Electrician) or a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related discipline are encouraged to apply. Both freshers and individuals with up to two years of experience can apply. Experience in PCB/component soldering is considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual soldering of electronic and electrical components with precision.
• Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs), wiring, connectors, and electrical assemblies following specific work instructions.
• Interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.
• Inspect the quality and workmanship of solder joints to ensure standards are met.
• Conduct repairs or rework on defective solder joints as necessary.
• Use soldering irons, desoldering tools, and other hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure correct placement of components prior to soldering operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation adhering to 5S principles.
• Comply with electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions and safety guidelines.
• Achieve daily production targets while upholding quality benchmarks.
• Report shortages of materials, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues promptly to supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Basic understanding of soldering techniques and electronic component identification.
• Good hand-eye coordination with keen attention to detail.
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical/electronic assembly processes.
• Willingness to learn and adaptability to work in a production setting.
• Ability to work in shifts as per organizational requirements.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with IPC soldering standards is advantageous.
• Experience in PCB soldering and wire harness assembly is a benefit.
• Knowledge of quality inspection methods and rework procedures.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 and is commensurate with experience.
