Electrical Sales Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Sales Engineer to join our team based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is primarily field-based, involving frequent visits to customers and sites, conducting product demonstrations, and fostering business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly visit customers and job sites to uncover new business opportunities.
• Locate, initiate contact with, and follow up on potential clients.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to generate leads and drive growth.
• Understand the technical and commercial needs of customers and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Effectively communicate product capabilities, features, and practical applications to clients.
• Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations onsite.
• Prepare detailed technical and pricing quotations in partnership with the sales team.
• Offer technical support before and after sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with both current and prospective clients.
• Participate actively in customer meetings, trade shows, and other business development events.
• Assist sales team follow-up activities and help meet sales objectives.
• Be prepared to travel within the city and to other locations as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Preferable prior experience in sales, technical sales, or electrical engineering.
• Open to applicants with either a strong technical background or sales experience.
• Ability to clearly comprehend and articulate technical concepts and products.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work in a field-based position involving regular site and client visits.
• Possession of a valid Saudi driving license is advantageous.
• Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
