Job Overview
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting regular preventive and corrective maintenance on various electrical systems and equipment to ensure their efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on electrical installations.
- Inspect, diagnose problems, and repair electrical panels, motors, wiring, and lighting arrangements.
- Oversee the operation and upkeep of DG sets, UPS units, and power distribution frameworks.
- Respond promptly to electrical failures, identifying and resolving faults to minimize downtime.
- Perform scheduled inspections and upkeep of electrical devices.
- Adhere strictly to electrical safety protocols and standards throughout all maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including logs, checklists, and fault reports.
- Collaborate effectively with facility management teams and external service providers or contractors.
- Ensure continuous and safe functioning of all electrical systems to support facility operations.
