Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a solid background in electrical systems. Experience with extrusion and injection molding machinery is preferable but not a strict requirement. The role centers on ensuring smooth and reliable operation of machinery through proactive maintenance, timely troubleshooting, and continuous enhancement of equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and promptly address breakdowns for all machines and utilities.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in machinery, control panels, drives, PLC and servo systems, heaters, sensors, and other electrical components.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans aimed at minimizing downtime and maximizing machine availability.
- Respond swiftly to machine breakdowns by identifying root causes and implementing permanent corrective measures.
- Maintain detailed records covering maintenance history, breakdown analyses, spare part usage, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to reduce operational disruptions during maintenance.
- Monitor machine performance continuously and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and energy conservation.
- Ensure upkeep of auxiliary systems including compressors, chillers, cooling systems, material handling, and other factory utilities.
- Manage inventory of critical electrical and mechanical spare parts to prevent unnecessary downtime.
- Provide support for installation, commissioning, modification, and upgrading of existing and new machinery.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards when conducting electrical and maintenance work.
- Focus efforts on increasing machine uptime, minimizing recurring failures, and boosting overall plant efficiency.
