Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Role Summary

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is tasked with the installation, upkeep, diagnosis, and repair of electrical systems within industrial, commercial, or manufacturing settings. This involves handling various electrical equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.

Primary Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical devices and infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve electrical malfunctions and failures promptly.
• Execute both preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Work efficiently with panels, motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring networks.
• Interpret electrical diagrams and schematic drawings accurately.
• Strictly adhere to electrical safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Document maintenance activities through detailed logs and reports.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new electrical machinery and systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI Electrician certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech) considered for engineer positions.
• Fundamental understanding of electrical safety protocols is essential.
• Total professional experience of five years is required, including at least three years focused on DC systems.
