Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tenders for electrical projects and maintenance contracts.
• Conduct site inspections and engage directly with clients on upgrades, maintenance, and new project prospects.
• Manage complex tender processes, ensuring timely submissions.
• Analyze plans, specifications, and technical documents to produce detailed quantity take-offs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to obtain competitive pricing.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value-adding solutions throughout the estimation process.
• Build and sustain strong professional relationships with customers and industry partners to support future opportunities.

Experience and Skills Required

• Proven experience in electrical estimating, project delivery, maintenance, construction, or building services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Australian electrical standards including AS3000 and AS3008.
• Detailed understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation practices.
• Ability to prepare precise quotations and estimates for diverse project scales and complexities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tenders simultaneously.
