Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

This role involves working within the electrical panel manufacturing and design domain, emphasizing engineering aspects such as estimation and production workflow coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and estimate various electrical panels, including PCC, MCC, VFD, and PLC types.
• Develop and prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs) and select suitable equipment for electrical panels.
• Create detailed layouts, wiring diagrams, and general arrangement (GA) schematics using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or analogous software.
• Oversee manufacturing processes on the shop floor ensuring adherence to delivery timelines.
• Manage documentation tasks including Bill of Quantity (BOQ), design calculations, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, internal departments, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain strict quality assurance and regulatory compliance of electrical panels throughout the process.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 1 to 4 years of experience in electrical panel manufacturing, design, estimation, or related engineering functions.
• Demonstrate proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD and EPLAN or their equivalents.
• Strong project management skills inherent in supervising manufacturing floor activities.
• Capable of preparing technical documentation and maintaining standards compliance.
