Electrical & Electronics Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Electrical & Electronics Technician to join our Service & Maintenance team based in Jeddah or Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates holding a Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or closely related disciplines. The role focuses on diagnosing, testing, repairing, and maintaining small household electrical and electronic devices while adhering strictly to safety standards and technical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify faults in small home electrical and electronic appliances and determine appropriate repair approaches.
• Conduct inspections, testing, disassembly, repair, and reassembly activities safely and efficiently.
• Repair various small appliances including microwaves, blenders, kettles, vacuum cleaners, irons, coffee makers, and toasters.
• Replace faulty parts such as motors, switches, thermostats, heating elements, printed circuit boards, and other components.
• Perform functional testing post-repair to ensure compliance with required performance criteria.
• Complete maintenance and repair tasks within designated turnaround times using approved manuals and product specifications.
• Request necessary spare parts from the Spare Parts Department and document usage accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and parts used in company systems and service documentation.
• Communicate progress, technical challenges, and updates with Service Advisors, Supervisors, and Senior Technicians.
• Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level technicians as needed.
• Keep the workshop and service area organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow all relevant company policies and health and safety requirements.
• For home service assignments, collect payments from customers and ensure timely submission to the Service Center.

Qualifications

• A Diploma or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to one year of relevant practical or entry-level experience.
• Fundamental understanding of electrical and electronic components, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
• Basic knowledge of electrical safety and maintenance procedures.
• Able to interpret and follow technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and maintenance instructions accurately.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Eager to enhance technical skills related to appliance maintenance and repairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior co-op, internship, or hands-on training experience in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
• Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as multimeters.
• Basic understanding of printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to operate in both service center and field service contexts.
