Role Overview

The Electrical Design Estimator will play a critical role in developing precise and commercially viable estimates, tenders, quotes, and project cost analyses. Additionally, they will develop electrical designs that comply with client specifications, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards. This role involves collaboration with project managers, design engineers, field personnel, and clients to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare competitive tenders, budgets, and project cost estimates.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, contract documents, and scope of work.
• Develop fit-for-purpose electrical designs and propose technical solutions.
• Support project planning, execution, and handover phases.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities during tendering and project execution stages.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business processes.
• Uphold a culture focused on safety, quality, and strong commercial performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Between 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical design, estimating, project management, or related areas.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and cost estimation capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Relevant electrical qualification or equivalent practical industry experience.
