Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience, preferably in projects aligned with European and especially Swedish standards. This position is based in Gurgaon and involves working on sophisticated electrical system designs for international projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with experienced designers to develop efficient electrical system designs, including preparing foundational designs, performing calculations, and detailing specifications for lighting, power, security systems, fire alarms, telecommunications, cable trays, and schematics.
• Operate within a collaborative team, reporting to the Team Manager or Swedish Project Manager.
• Execute detailed system design by creating 3D models and coordinating among services to ensure clash-free layouts using Solibri or Navisworks software.
• Prepare schematic and layout drawings supported by engineering calculations.
• Work independently or under supervision to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to agreed timelines and budgets.
• Adhere strictly to project and client protocols throughout the design process.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with European and Swedish codes, standards, and regulations governing electrical design.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective team collaboration capabilities, with proficient English communication.
• Experience working in a consultancy setting with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using AutoCAD MEP and/or Revit for design purposes.
• High technical aptitude and eagerness to learn on the job.
• Capable of independent and team-based work within project environments.
• Experienced in working with both 2D and 3D design environments.
• Advanced knowledge of software tools including MagiCAD for AutoCAD and Revit, Dialux, Febdok, Revit, Solibri, and Navisworks.
