Role Overview
As an Electrical Design Engineer focusing on Revit MEP, you will engage in designing, modeling, and drafting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems via Autodesk Revit. Responsibilities also include performing power and load calculations using software like Agi32 and SKM.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop construction, presentation, and conceptual lighting drawings using Revit.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and construction teams.
- Utilize electrical analysis data to inform early design decisions.
- Conduct load and energy consumption analyses.
- Configure necessary electrical system settings and incorporate electrical components such as equipment, light fixtures, and devices.
- Coordinate linked models to ensure synchronization.
- Create designated spaces for light level calculations.
- Connect and test basic electrical systems.
- Adhere strictly to client requirements, ensuring delivery and quality standards.
- Undertake technical and peer reviews, contributing to overall design quality.
- Participate in project and team meetings, including communication with US-based teams.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong technical proficiency in electrical engineering concepts.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of practical experience working extensively with Autodesk Revit (MEP Electrical).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, AGI 32, and SKM software is highly beneficial.
- Experience working on US projects related to building electrical design using Revit MEP is an advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NEC, IECC, ASHRAE, and other regional electrical codes.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
- Fluent in English with strong command of technical terminology.
Technical Requirements
- Must have a personal computer or laptop capable of smoothly running Autodesk Revit, SKM, Agi32, and related software.
- Reliable, high-speed internet connectivity is essential.
Employment Terms and Remuneration
This is a full-time, permanent position offering remote work primarily for candidates located in Telangana State, India. The annual compensation ranges from 10,00,000 to 12,00,000 INR, subject to experience and skill level.
