Job Summary and Responsibilities
The role requires a detail-focused Electrical Assembly Technician to physically handle, assemble, solder, and test electronic and electrical products and sub-assemblies. Responsibilities include assembling circuits with SMD and leaded components, reading and interpreting electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and bills of materials, and performing soldering tasks for both through-hole and surface-mounted devices. The technician will ensure quality workmanship, proper component placement, and adherence to assembly standards while inspecting for defects and troubleshooting basic assembly issues. Maintaining a clean, organized workstation and following safety protocols and standard operating procedures is essential. The schedule is full-time in-office from 9 AM to 6 PM at Juinagar, Navi Mumbai.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- Possess an ITI certification in Electrical or a comparable technical qualification
- Preferably 1–2 years of practical experience in electrical or electronic assembly
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic components
- Proficient in soldering techniques for SMD and leaded components with precise hand skills
- Ability to interpret electrical schematic diagrams and BOMs accurately
- Familiarity with tools and equipment utilized in electrical/electronic assembly
- Strong attention to detail coupled with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
