Position Summary

This contract role involves an expert engagement as a Content Writer and Editor focused on evaluating and enhancing written materials, primarily targeting the detection and refinement of AI-generated text. The position offers a flexible remote work arrangement with commitment hours ranging between 10 and 40 per week, compensated at a rate between $22 and $70 per hour.

Main Duties

• Evaluate text content to ensure clarity, logical flow, accuracy, and adherence to established project requirements.
• Perform thorough writing assessments and deliver detailed, constructive feedback to promote continual quality improvements.
• Detect and label content produced by AI systems, emphasizing the identification of substandard or artificial text characteristics.
• Edit and refine documents with attention to grammar, sentence structure, and tone to uphold superior English language standards.
• Work collaboratively with project managers and other experts remotely, providing insightful editorial feedback.
• Generate written assessments and recommendations that support the optimization of AI training data sets.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrable background in writing, editing, or evaluating textual documents.
• A bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent teaching experience in English.
• Native-level fluency in English, with excellent precision in written and spoken communication.
• Proven skill in differentiating between AI-produced and human-crafted texts.
• Experience participating in editorial review processes, content evaluations, or quality control tasks.
• Exceptional organizational capabilities combined with the ability to operate independently within a remote work environment.
