Role Overview
The ECom Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining efficient process workflows in a designated workstream. Close collaboration with the Team Leader and team members is critical to improving productivity while ensuring consistent adherence to operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the order fulfillment process by following established routines to ensure timely, accurate processing and that online orders are correctly picked with top-quality fresh products.
- Lead and supervise the team to achieve accurate task completion, offer training and coaching on the job, and assume Acting Store Manager duties during assigned shifts.
- Detect any operational issues and escalate these promptly to the Function Lead to facilitate effective solutions.
- Advocate for workplace safety and wellbeing by following safety procedures, reporting hazards, and prioritizing team health.
- Engage actively in initiatives that enhance team communication and collaboration, contributing to a positive work culture.
Candidate Attributes and Requirements
- Proven expertise in process excellence with an eagerness for ongoing learning and development.
- Strong ability to form and maintain cooperative relationships with different departmental functions and stakeholders.
- Solid experience in team leadership, including task delegation, tracking progress, coaching, feedback delivery, and motivation.
- Deep understanding of compliance within functional areas and superior communication skills to effectively convey tasks and standards.
- Commitment to embodying company values in all actions.
- Availability to work at least four weekend shifts monthly and a minimum of one evening shift per week.
- Must have valid authorization to work in New Zealand.
