Position Details

• This is a full-time or part-time role (minimum 4 days per week), with an assignment lasting until June 30, 2025.
• Flexible hybrid working arrangements allow you to work from home, the Ipswich office, or within the community.
• The position is based in Ipswich, Queensland, situated on the lands of the Yuggera, Jagera, and Ugarapul Peoples.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered support aligned with evidence-based best practices to help families achieve their goals.
• Conduct assessments and observations of child development to customize support plans suited to individual children and family needs.
• Empower caregivers, families, and professionals by coaching them to enhance skills and confidence in supporting children daily.
• Facilitate children's and families’ connections with community resources to promote inclusion and participation in chosen activities.
• Maintain detailed records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals utilizing the NDIA business system.
• Support families through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) application, plan implementation, and funding processes.

Candidate Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood, Education, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge in child development and early intervention, with an ability to recognize developmental challenges.
• Proven experience fostering strong relationships and supporting children and families facing developmental delays or disabilities, including guiding them to adopt practical strategies across daily environments.
• In-depth understanding of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach, early intervention best practices, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
