About the Role

W J Towell UAE is seeking a dynamic and commercially focused E-Commerce Specialist to become an integral part of their Dubai team. This role emphasizes more than just listing products online; it focuses on maximizing visibility, boosting conversion rates, refining customer journeys, and driving revenue growth through digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share within e-commerce categories.
• Oversee and optimize e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces for maximum performance.
• Drive online sales through orchestrated promotions, campaigns, digital merchandising, and commercial programs.
• Ensure product listings are accurate, featuring persuasive content, quality imagery, appropriate pricing, and real-time availability information.
• Track and analyze online sales data, website traffic, conversion rates, product performance, and customer behaviors.
• Use data-driven insights to uncover opportunities that enhance sales, profitability, and market reach.
• Collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless order processing and excellent customer experiences.
• Manage promotional calendars and coordinate marketplace activities timely and efficiently.
• Identify emerging trends in online retail and recommend innovative growth initiatives.
• Continuously refine the customer online journey and improve product visibility on digital channels.
• Stay abreast of current e-commerce tools, technologies, and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, online marketplaces, or related fields.
• Strong commercial acumen with a keen focus on driving sales growth.
• Comfortable working with data, generating reports, and interpreting performance analytics.
• Skilled in product listing, online merchandising, promotional activities, and managing multiple marketplaces.
