E-Commerce Operations Manager

Role Overview

The E-Commerce Operations Manager plays a crucial role in linking digital sales with physical warehouse processes, guaranteeing seamless operations from product listing to final delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily operational tasks across e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho, maintaining accurate pricing, inventory, and catalog details.
• Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock, coordinating closely with suppliers and third-party logistics providers.
• Supervise the entire order fulfillment cycle including picking, packing, shipment, and management of returns, while ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
• Monitor performance metrics like order accuracy, fulfillment speed, timeliness of deliveries, and return rates by utilizing dashboards and advanced spreadsheet tools.
• Collaborate with teams from Marketing, Finance, and Customer Support to enhance operational workflows and manage escalations effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or E-Commerce.
• Have between three to five years of pertinent experience managing operations in e-commerce or marketplace environments.
• Demonstrate expertise in using marketplace seller dashboards, warehouse and order management systems, and data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Exhibit strong analytical problem-solving skills, vendor negotiation capabilities, leadership qualities, and effective communication.
