Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled E-Commerce Executive to oversee and expand our Shopify-based online store while enhancing our presence on Google. This opportunity requires an individual with more than two years of relevant work experience, capable of managing all facets of the Shopify platform as well as SEO initiatives to boost organic traffic and sales.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage Shopify website and product listings including uploading, descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory control.
- Handle SEO tasks along with management of Google Search Console and Google Merchant Center accounts.
- Enhance Google search rankings, increase organic traffic, and improve overall website visibility.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize meta titles/descriptions along with on-page SEO elements.
- Maintain Shopify collections, pages, and blogs for a comprehensive customer experience.
- Regularly monitor website performance metrics and resolve straightforward SEO issues.
- Perform competitor research and engage in activities that foster e-commerce growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated strong expertise with Shopify platform management.
- Solid understanding of SEO practices and hands-on experience with Google Search Console.
- Proficiency in product listing and catalog management on e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with Google Merchant Center and Google Analytics for monitoring and analysis.
- Excellent communication abilities coupled with content writing skills suitable for product descriptions and website content.
- Proven capability to independently manage e-commerce operations including site management and SEO.
Additional Information
This position involves sole responsibility for the comprehensive operation and growth of our Shopify website combined with SEO strategies. The expected monthly compensation ranges between 20,000 and 25,000 INR.
