DTP Operator

Overview

Best Digital Prints seeks a skilled DTP Computer Operator & Graphic Designer responsible for managing pre-press layouts, client print files, and creating customized product designs such as corporate gifts, packaging, stationery, and marketing materials.

Key Duties

• Prepare and verify print-ready files ensuring bleed, crop marks, CMYK color profiles, and resolution are set correctly for digital and offset printing processes.
• Design layouts and vector artwork for a variety of customized merchandise including lanyards, t-shirts, mugs, corporate gift boxes, monocartons, and kappa boxes.
• Engage directly with walk-in customers to fulfill artwork requirements, perform image resizing, typesetting, and page layout tasks for document printing and photocopying services.
• Work alongside single-pass and digital print machine operators to ensure efficient turnaround for both low-volume and bulk print orders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
• Fast typing skills in both English and Hindi, with strong expertise in text alignment and typesetting.
• Technical understanding of print setups including standard A3/A4 formats, single-pass digital configurations, gold foiling overlays, spot UV layers, and vector trace conversions.
• Experience ranging from one to three years working within a digital printing environment or a graphic design studio.
