This position is based in Novena and falls under Ancillary Support.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport clients safely and on time to designated locations, strictly following the scheduled itinerary.
• Ensure the vehicle is outfitted at all times with required safety equipment including wheelchair restraints, fire extinguisher, first aid box, and seat belts.
• Conduct regular checks, maintenance, and servicing of the vehicle and related equipment such as hydraulic lifters and fire extinguishers to ensure proper functioning.
• Prioritize client safety by securing seat belts, properly fastening wheelchairs, and ensuring passengers remain secured throughout the journey.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle’s interior and exterior at all times.
• Assist with organizational transport services such as banking errands, mailing, and document deliveries within the company’s premises.
• Perform daily preventive inspections of the vehicle and its equipment at shift end to confirm readiness for the following day.
• Follow company Contingency Plan and Transport Standard Operating Procedures during any emergencies.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Candidate Requirements

• At least three years of relevant driving experience.
• Hold a class 3 driving license with a clean driving record.
• Basic proficiency in spoken and written simple English.
• Possession of First Aid, AED, and CPR certification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good public relations aptitude.
• Availability to commence work on short notice.
