Role Overview

We are seeking skilled HGV tramping drivers, preferably with ADR certification, to join our Transport team. This role involves safely transporting chemicals and ingredients that contribute to keeping communities fed, clean, and safe. Drivers will operate advanced vehicles equipped with modern safety and comfort features.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely to customers within the Univar Solutions network across various locations.
• Provide excellent customer service through effective communication while on customer sites.
• Adhere strictly to all safety processes, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Handle customer feedback and requests, escalating them as necessary to internal teams.
• Execute specialist ‘Pump Over’ deliveries using high-spec vehicles to transfer products directly into customers’ tanks (specific to Category C roles).

Candidate Expectations

• Exhibit professionalism with a strong commitment to service quality and compliant, safe driving.
• Be a UK resident with legal authorization to work in the UK.
• Hold or be willing to obtain ADR license and Driver CPC (training support available).
• Demonstrate serious dedication to safety and adherence to protocols.
• Be comfortable using smartphones, particularly iPhones, and mobile applications.
• Have an ambition to grow and progress within a company that values development.

Additional Information

The role involves using DAF fully automatic vehicles equipped with features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, air conditioning, and refrigeration to enhance safety and comfort. Drivers will have a dedicated vehicle, with occasions requiring driving other vehicles.
