Role Overview

This role is a full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi, requiring operation of company trucks to safely and efficiently transport goods between assigned locations. Responsibilities include routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, loading and securing cargo properly, maintaining delivery records accurately, and promptly communicating any mechanical issues or incidents. The driver must coordinate with dispatch, adjust to scheduling changes, and deliver courteous service to customers and partners during pickups and deliveries. Additionally, the role requires maintaining vehicle cleanliness, following safety procedures, and providing teamwork support to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Proficient truck driving skills with safe operation of heavy vehicles.
• Possession of a valid CDL Class A or equivalent heavy vehicle license compliant with Abu Dhabi standards.
• Strong communication abilities to liaise effectively with dispatchers, teammates, and customers.
• Excellent customer service skills and professionalism when engaging with clients and the general public.
• Clean driving record and comprehensive knowledge of traffic laws and road safety.
• Ability to interpret delivery instructions, navigate using maps and manifests, and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Physical capability to load, unload, and secure freight as necessary.
• Prior experience driving commercial or heavy trucks in the region is advantageous.
